Trip Log Balloon Hints

While viewing a time-space diagram with trip logs showing, if you hover the cursor over a trip, a trip log balloon hint appears. The balloon appears after ~1-2 sec. Is there anyway to make this time longer or disable the balloon from appearing? I sometimes find the balloon annoying when tracing a trip log with my cursor, but other times it comes in handy when troubleshooting erroneous trip log data points.

Version 7.0 doesn't give any direct control over those trip log balloon hints (aside from moving the mouse to make them appear or clicking the X to make it disappear).

Version 8.0 gives a bit more control. Under the View menu, you can check or uncheck Trip Log Balloon Hints to enable/disable them. At present, it doesn't give you control over the timings, either the pause before the balloon hint appears or the duration before it disappears. I like that idea, so I'll be happy to slip that option into a minor update soon.
